Kane Partners is searching for a Structural Design Engineer for an Engineering firm that specializes in structural engineering in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Strong background in calculations, structural analysis, and structural engineering.
· Professional experience design in CAD, AutoCAD, or related design software.
· Industry experience designing new buildings, add additions and renovations, and restoration and repairs
· Responsible to perform calculations, conducting structural analysis, and providing expertise in structural engineering
· Our Engineers usually have 1 – 2 bigger projects that they are assigned to that take a couple months to complete, but also have smaller projects that could take a week or two (cracks in concrete, fire damage, small renovations, etc)
· Mixture of concrete, steel, wood experience is desired
· PE preferred but E.I.T will be accepted
· Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or a related field.
The right candidate will have excellent mathematical and mechanical aptitude and possess excellent attention and respect for detail. This is 5 days in office role based in the Great Bethesda area.
