General Studio Technician

Law & Crime, the go-to network for live trials, crime and legal news, is seeking a General Studio Technician to work alongside our current team to help with the production of our live show and our podcasts for the Law and Crime Network. Producers rely on technicians’ technical expertise, and support which allows them to solely focus on their creativity, vision, and managing talent. Must have experience in live production environments.


Responsibilities/Duties:


-Provide production support including camera operation, lighting, video switching, audio mixing, and switch board operations

-Work under the director to facilitate the execution of the network

-Perform daily maintenance of production equipment

-Understand operations of broadcast equipment and streaming video workflow

-Video Editing and media management

-Be able at times to work independently, and with a sense of urgency



Qualifications:

-1-2 years studio/control room experience

-Comfortable in fast-paced environments

-Able to operate a video switcher, character generator, video playback and audio mixing.

-A strong team player must be able to take direction and collaborate with others

-Communication and organizational skills

-Ability to work under pressure

-Adobe Premiere, After effects.

-Understanding of BlackMagic Switcher a bonus.

-Xpression and vMix experience preferred.

-Be able to work full time in office
