Job Description: 

Janessa Leone is seeking a Wholesale Sales Associate to join our team. The Wholesale Associate will oversee a wide-range of administrative activities to facilitate the smooth running and timely workflow of wholesale order and invoice processing.    You will also support the Wholesale sales team in providing excellent customer service and achieving sales results.  Working cross-functionally, you’ll support projects across wholesale, ecommerce, marketing, operations and retail.  The role is perfect for an enthusiastic, proactive, detailed oriented and hands-on individual looking to strengthen their skills and support a passionate team in a warm, creative environment. The ideal candidate is an eager team player with great organization and communication skills.

This is a Part Time role based in our Los Angeles headquarters with a flexible, hybrid in-office/remote work environment.  With expectations to work 20-30 hours per week, at least 2 days a week in-office and to travel when required.


What you’ll do:


SALES 

  • Building strong relationships with retailers by keeping in touch and providing customized advice on styles that perform well for them. Seek out and develop commercial opportunities to expand business and to grow new product categories. 
  • Support the coordination of market bookings with invites, follow-up, reminders and post appointment communications
  • Delivering a high level of customer service through email, phone and virtual and in-person appointments
  • Research and monitor the market to discover new potential partners and sale opportunities
  • Building and maintaining the client network by engaging and fostering relationships
  • Handle general requests from clients such as product information, brand images, products’ images and content, shipping documentations
  • Monitor online stores to ensure our brand is well represented, product information and images are accurate.  Also, report and provide feedback on any additional opportunity to enhance Janessa Leoné sales. 
  • Assisting with digital wholesale marketing, including newsletters and visual assets
  • Provide support with store visits, trunk shows, brand training, samples sales, pop-up and retail store openings.


SALES OPERATIONS

  • Support the Wholesale Sales Manager to upkeep of budgets and forecasts. Maintain and report on key account sell-through reports. Provide insight into growth opportunities and risks.
  • Keeping to the wholesale critical path, shipping windows and market dates
  • Closing seasonal bookings, uploading all orders timely and sending to planning & production by the closing date.  Sending final order confirmations to accounts. 
  • Sending timely official communications to clients regarding deliveries, out of stock products, new launches, ship approvals, order & ship confirmations, product information
  • Coordinating with the 3PL dispatching team to schedule and track shipments.  Includes troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to order processing or inventory management
  • Maintain accurate account card files in our ERP, Full Circle and B2B platform with timely input, amendments and updates. Input, amend and process all wholesale orders in our ERP.
  • Support AR by following up on all wholesale payments and chasing in any deposits.  
  • Processing swaps, returns (RMAs) and faulty items and liaise with Finance when necessary
  • Assisting with updates of the B2B wholesale platform, including both front and back end (daily operations, order management, product uploads, price updates, web design, visual assets and more)
  • Managing and shipping out sample and gifting requests from wholesale partners and agents
  • Assisting the sales team with any general administration tasks, including supporting the wholesale calendar management, meeting support and travel coordination 


Who you are:

  • Previous wholesale sales experience in the luxury fashion environment
  • Key interest in the luxury retail sector, digital marketing and business operations
  • Computer literate with mac and google drive experience
  • Previous experience in a order processing, sales or customer support role is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
  • Responsive, organized, and great time management
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to relate and work with all kinds of people inside and outside the company.
  • A team player, able to multitask and prioritize tasks and deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset and a creative thinker. Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to drive to clients as needed
