This part-time position is a crucial component of our retail stores' success. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and product recommendations.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
- Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
- Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
- Stock shelves and set up displays.
- Clean store equipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Assist with deliveries as required.
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
- Stay knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options with customers.
- Comply with inventory control procedures.
- Suggest ways to improve sales performance.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
- Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
