Position Overview:

The Procurement Specialist will ensure compliance within the procurement department by reviewing colleagues’ work. This role involves utilizing government tools for modifications, receiving CDROLS, and working closely with the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance by checking other Contract Specialists’ work.
  • Utilize government tools to make changes/modifications.
  • Work directly with KO and COR.


Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience administering cost type contracts.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to plan negotiation strategy, conduct negotiations, document results, and use cost and price analysis techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of pre-award/award/post-award contracting experience procuring products and services using FAR parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16.
  • At least 4 years of pre-award/award contracting experience.
  • At least 2 years of post-award contracting experience.
  • DOD contracting experience with proficiency in FARs and DFARS.


Preferred Skills/Technologies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
