Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our company's financial strategy and operations. The CFO will play a pivotal role in tracking cash flow, conducting financial planning, analyzing financial strengths and weaknesses, overseeing audits and tax filings, budgeting, and providing regular financial reporting to the CEO.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals. Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  2. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for operating activities, investments, and debt obligations. Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital.
  3. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly account summaries, to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Present financial data and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  4. Budgeting and Cost Control: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget management activities. Work with department heads to establish budgetary goals and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  5. Financial Audits and Tax Compliance: Oversee the external audit process, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Manage tax planning and compliance activities, including timely and accurate tax filings.
  6. Financial Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  7. Strategic Financial Advice: Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to the CEO based on financial analysis and insights. Collaborate with executive team members to support decision-making and drive business growth.


Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior financial leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and influence decision-making.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving financial objectives.
