aeSolutions, a provider of Safety and Control Systems in multi-industry applications, is looking for an Automation Control Specialist with NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level IV Certification to join our Automation team in Greenville, SC. The person in this position will join one of the industry leaders in Automation Project Solutions, and will support projects throughout the country, serving as control systems specialist developing, configuring, and integrating systems. This person will lead the design and fabrication of fire alarm systems in Greenville, and will travel to Alaska to support clients in the field, and is ultimately involved with all phases of the project including concept and system definition, detailed engineering and procurement, equipment installation, commissioning, and startup.



Success in this position will be evaluated by delivering the desired outcomes for our clients as defined in the project scope, budget, and schedule. Performance will also be evaluated for quality and compliance with industry and Company standards.



aeSolutions will provide the person in this role opportunities to build their control skills as well as growth in project execution and process safety knowledge. Other opportunities for growth and development (e.g. strengthen client relationships, and learning additional tools and platforms) will be part of a specific personal development plan.



Qualifications / Experience:


  • A Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable technical degree, plus at least 5 years additional experience, or
  • Minimum 10 years of fire detection, signaling systems, and fire alarm systems experience, to include specific experience with: Technical business management; Management role in installation; Maintenance, Inspection, Testing, Commissioning; Technical system estimating and sales; Plan preparation; Code compliance review
  • NICET Level IV Certification or ability to earn it upon hire
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, & MS Office software
  • The willingness and ability to travel up to 35% of the time
  • Valid driver's license required
