About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and maintain pipeline systems that are integral to our energy, water, or industrial projects. As a Pipeline Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of liquids, gases, or other products through pipelines while adhering to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

  • Develop pipeline designs based on project specifications, environmental assessments, and operational requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, route selection, and risk assessments for new and existing pipeline systems.
  • Use advanced software and simulation tools (AutoCAD, CAESAR II, etc.) for design, modeling, and stress analysis.


Project Management:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers) to deliver end-to-end pipeline projects.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.


Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all pipeline designs and operations meet industry standards (API, ASME, etc.) and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Conduct hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), risk assessments, and ensure appropriate safety protocols are in place.


Construction and Installation:

  • Supervise pipeline installation and construction activities to ensure proper techniques are used and standards are met.
  • Perform inspections and tests (hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, etc.) to validate the integrity and performance of pipelines.


Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of pipeline systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot pipeline failures or inefficiencies, implementing solutions in a timely manner.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for pipeline systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and any modifications to pipeline infrastructure.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in pipeline engineering, design, and project management.
  • Hands-on experience with pipeline design software and simulation tools.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, pipeline materials, and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAESAR II, or similar software for pipeline design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
