Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pipeline Engineering Lead to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, construction, and operation of pipeline infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in the execution of pipeline engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement engineering designs for new pipelines, pump stations, and other related facilities.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports for project proposals and construction activities.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment for pipeline projects.
  • Monitor project progress and budgets, ensuring adherence to schedule and cost constraints.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate pipeline integrity and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in pipeline operations.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering design and construction.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME B31.8).
  • Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Training in project management software and techniques, including project scoping and estimating utilizing work breakdown structures, cost and schedule control systems, design and construction management, team building, resource planning, procurement, and permitting.
  • Knowledge of natural gas and oil pipeline, plant, and pump station operations.
  • Experience with FERC pipeline projects.
