A full-service marketing agency located in Miramar, Florida is seeking an experienced Agency Account Manager to join our eclectic group of creative minds. Role Responsibilities:


Client Relations:

  • Function as the primary point of contact for key clients.
  • Review creative, marketing, and digital campaign performance with clients.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and ensure client needs are met.
  • Setup systems and process for client and agency communications, data recording, monthly meetings and KPI reviews
  • Target to upsell at least 10-25% of clients current retainer/spending with the agency.
  • Maintain client's satisfaction and conduct surveys and one-on-meeting for health check


Team Management:

  • Lead the account management team.
  • Monitor projects and ensure they meet client expectations and deadlines.
  • Use cloud-based workflow tools to set deadlines and manage tasks.
  • Liaison internally with other departments heads for delivery.
  • Support AM team to liaison with other team members and department heads to maintain the company's job board.


Strategic Planning:

  • Strategize at a senior level to enhance client services.
  • Collaborate with the team to assess client needs and offer industry recommendations.
  • Relay client needs to internal departments and offer insights and solutions.
  • Create an internal system to raise flags, follow up on projects and close loops.
  • Update client and internal team with industry knowledge to offer recommendations for current and upselling opportunities


Marketing Expertise:

  • Explain marketing concepts (traditional and digital) to clients based on recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of internet marketing concepts, including SEO, PPC, Display/Banner Advertising, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and more.
  • Prior experience with paid and organic digital/social campaigns is a plus. Should have working knowledge of, digital [paid, own, earn], production, postproduction, media placements, print advertising and campaign development.
  • Understand high-level valuable information about client destinations such as:

New Flight schedules or new bound flight partners; Destination events that are of high importance and relevant to travel trends

  • Having a solid understanding on destination trends that influence travel


Reporting and Coordination:

  • Prepare, execute, and report marketing plans
  • Coordinate marketing programs and report on their success
  • Manage multiple projects effectively
  • Custodian for clients SOW and KPI's


Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of management experience, preferably in an advertising agency
  • Strong client relations skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to speak to clients, review campaign performance, and explain strategic recommendations
  • Agency experience is essential, and experience in Travel and Tourism in the Caribbean and Mexico is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Multichannel experience
  • Up to 15% travel may be required

Supervision/Contacts:

  • Directly reports to the President/CEO


Work Environment:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.


Physical Demands:

  • Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.


Travel:

  • Travel may be required occasionally
  • Total travel time will be up to 15% of the time
