Purpose:

This position will be responsible for performing administrative and office support activities for multiple cabinet designers. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing customers, word processing and filing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as research abilities and strong communication skills.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • field telephone calls and filings
  • knowledge of all software that the company is utilizing
  • enter purchase orders
  • receive items on purchase orders once certification of delivery has been made.
  • place orders and backorders for missing and damaged product including any research for these items
  • Place calls to vendors to follow up on orders places, eta's and ask general questions
  • Coordinate Cabinet deliveries from vendors and the schedule cabinet deliveries with shipping department
  • Communicate with designers on eta's scheduling, shipping and billing weekly/monthyl
  • Communicate with receiving warehouse for missing or backordered items.
  • Enter jobs and contracts in current software
  • Receive and post cash payments from cash customers
  • Enter time sheets of our installers and subs to gather full cost of a job
  • Weekly reports to upper management on closed jobs
  • Monitor time clock, approve time off request
  • Maintain and keep the cabinet warehouse organized
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and designers. Keep all abreast of orders when placed and expected delivery
  • Backup for receptionist as needed


Working Conditions

  • The work environment is split between inside work and outside work that would be in the warehouse

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required


Skills, Knowledge, & abilities:

  • the ability to follow instructions, and complete forms as required along with the ability to use various computer software programs
  • Well organized and capable of communicating with customers. employees, and managers.
  • Solid math and reading skills are required
  • The ability to handle customers and employees questions and concerns in a professional manner.
