**Sr. Cloud Engineer—File Transfer (AWS Transfer Family/Terraform/Sterling File Gateway/Secure Transport)


  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing and developing file-based integration services using AWS Transfer Family (Lambda/Python), SNS, Grafana, IBM SFG, and Secure Transport.
  • 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gitlab).
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway with implementations leveraging both On-Prem servers and AWS EC2's
  • Experience with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect Direct, Sterling Control Center


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integration services using the AWS Transfer family using SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols.
  • Set up AWS Lambda runtimes and Python programming.
  • Configure and manage AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, and route53.
  • Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards, and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.
  • Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.
  • Custom develops monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • Participates in defect and incident root cause analyses.
  • Provides production support including on-call rotation.
  • Build an Integration services platform using native services.
  • Strong knowledge of high availability, load-balancing, and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.
  • Clear understanding of and experience with team development best practices to include peer reviews processes and version control systems.
  • Build solutions in accordance with Bank security policies that mitigate risk and increase efficiencies.
  • Judgment to escalate risk-based decisions appropriately.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, and Gitlab pipelines.
