Director of Sales and Marketing


Our client is a 35 year old Family Owned company and a leader in providing comprehensive fleet vehicle services. As they continue to grow, they are seeking to add a dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing who would maintain an office in either the Columbus or Cincinnati branch and oversee the sales growth of all operations across their five locations: Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Louisville, Kentucky.


They specialize in pressure washing for light-duty and medium-duty fleet vehicles, Semi-Truck and Bus Body repair, reconditioning, and detailing. Within the past fifteen years, they have expanded their services to also include commercial building, storefronts, flat surfaces, garages, and snow plowing.


The ideal candidate will come highly experienced in BUSINESS TO BUSINESS SERVICE SALES and embody the following core values: honors commitment, relationship-focused, solution-oriented, fun and positive, and driven.

Compensation:

  • Competitive Base Salary - $130,000 to $150,000 based on experience
  • First year on target earnings with Bonuses $160,000 to $200,000

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Develop and manage sales budgets and goals
  • Train and mentor a team of 10 to 15, Account Managers and Marketing Personnel
  • Measure and improve Account Manager's effectiveness
  • Identify needs for additional Account Managers and their skill sets
  • Identify areas of potential growth
  • Coach sales team through customer conflicts
  • Travel to other locations 2-3 days per week
  • Assist in hiring and termination processes
  • Build customer relationships through social engagements


Qualifications:

  • Business school or equivalent on the job training
  • 5-10 years of Sales and Management training experience
  • 5 years or more of Upper-Level management experience
  • 5 years or more of Marketing experience
  • Proven sales success in B2B Selling a Service (This is a must have)
  • Experience in family owned business culture is highly beneficial
  • Proven track record of professional growth
  • Experience in hiring and growing a team
  • Experience with P&L budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficiency in cold calling & networking
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with operations team
  • Valid Driver's License
