Style Crest is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to oversee and advance our Plumbing & Electrical product group. The Product Manager is responsible for supporting our overall business objectives through strategic management and execution of growth plans related to Style Crest’s Plumbing & Electrical product group; product categories include appliances, tubs, showers, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and the selection of related pipes, fittings, accessories, and installation items.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Product Strategy

  • Leads annual competitive and market analysis for each product category, incorporating data from secondary and primary research, customer feedback, and sales insights.
  • Defines and updates the product roadmap, including new product introductions and end-of-life strategies, and monitors market trends to inform product and marketing recommendations.

Product Line Management & Evaluation

  • Evaluates and updates the product offering annually based on sales, profit potential, and market shifts, while conducting pricing research for sustainable growth.
  • Develops and implements strategic plans, manages third-party partnerships, provides forecasts, maintains technical specifications, and oversees warranty policies and claims.

Product Marketing

  • Develops an annual marketing plan to outline the necessary sales support, promotion, and training for each product line, including communications, pricing, and launch requirements.
  • Leads the creation of marketing collateral and sales tools, ensures effective communication of product value propositions, and produces bulletins and announcements to keep stakeholders informed.

Product Data Management

  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate marketing and product data across all systems and e-commerce channels.
  • Coordinates across departments to ensure proper data input and setup for new and expanded product lines.

Sales Support

  • Collaborates with and assists the sales organization to assure consistent and appropriate sales presentation materials are developed and being used.
  • Leads internal designer and external agency partners as needed to develop compelling merchandising and demo displays for Style Crest branches.
  • Collaborates with sales administration, outside sales and distribution to process customer/product conversions.
  • Assists in the development and delivery of product training for both inside and outside sales, and customers as needed. Conducts monthly Sales Center product training.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Experience in the Building Products Industry is required. Experience with kitchen and bath products preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Manufactured Housing Industry is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, product/category management, sales or other related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or other business related field.
  • Successful track record in product marketing and/or other similar role with product responsibility.
  • Ability to make timely recommendations or decisions based on thorough analysis and research.
  • Demonstrated success in new product development and launch strategy.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and product management. Experience with Pragmatic Marketing, Product School, Product Management Institute, or similar course of study preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, presentation, organization and communication skills.
  • Must be able to think strategically and make solid decisions using sound judgment.
  • Must have the ability to interact with multiple levels of management, associates and third party vendors.
  • Must be process & detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
