Job Summary

Air Liquide is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising employees, planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead a Team: Direct and manage a group of technicians responsible for chemical production and repackaging operations.
  • Drive a Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure that employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Plan and Assign Work: Develop and implement plans to achieve production goals, and assign tasks to team members to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Implement Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to production methods, equipment, and operating procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain proper inventory levels of raw materials, products, and manufacturing supplies.
  • Manage Department Priorities: Prioritize tasks and projects to ensure that production goals are met, and that employees are trained and equipped to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Resolve Issues and Conflicts: Investigate and resolve issues and conflicts related to production, quality, and employee relations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a solid understanding of chemical processing systems.
  • Preferred Qualifications: College degree in a related field, safety leadership training, or equivalent experience.
