As a Linux Administrator, you will manage and maintain Linux servers and HPC systems, ensuring high performance, security, and availability. Daily tasks include system setup, troubleshooting, security management, automation, and performance tuning. You'll also handle disaster recovery, documentation, and collaborate with IT teams, participating in on-call rotations as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers and NVIDIA DGX HPC systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve complex Linux system issues, including hardware, network, and software problems.
  • Security: Implement security policies, manage firewalls, and conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts for monitoring, backups, and deployments.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize system performance for efficiency.
  • Disaster Recovery: Design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT teams and stakeholders to support projects and provide technical guidance. Participate in on-call rotations.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Linux administration, with experience in large-scale environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or LPIC preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, KVM) and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
