Your daily responsibilities will encompass system configuration, issue resolution, security oversight, automation processes, and performance optimization. Additionally, you will be tasked with disaster recovery planning, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with IT teams, including participation in on-call support as required.


Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:
Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Linux servers and NVIDIA DGX HPC systems.

Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve intricate Linux system challenges, encompassing hardware, network, and software-related issues.

Security Management:
Enforce security protocols, manage firewall configurations, and conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

Automation Development:
Create and sustain automation scripts for system monitoring, data backups, and deployment processes.

Performance Optimization:
Continuously monitor and enhance system performance for improved efficiency.

Disaster Recovery Planning:
Formulate and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Documentation Maintenance:
Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support various projects and provide technical expertise. Engage in on-call support as necessary.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Linux system administration, particularly in large-scale environments.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.

Certifications:
Preferred certifications include RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or LPIC.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Strong networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS) is advantageous.
