Core Responsibilities:

  • System Oversight: Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Linux servers and NVIDIA DGX HPC systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve intricate Linux system challenges, including hardware, network, and software-related issues.
  • Security Management: Enforce security protocols, manage firewall configurations, and perform regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Automation Development: Create and maintain automation scripts for system monitoring, backups, and deployment processes.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance system performance to ensure efficiency.
  • Backup and Recovery: Formulate and execute comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Keep detailed and current documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support various projects and provide technical expertise. Participate in on-call support as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Linux system administration, particularly in large-scale environments.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or LPIC.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Linux distributions such as Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and KVM, as well as automation tools including Bash and Python.
    • Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP and DNS.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS is advantageous.
