Human Resources Manager

Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager plans, coordinates, and directs the administrative functions of an organization. Responsible for employment policies and procedures, overseeing payroll and rewards and recognition programs as well as managing employee relations. Oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between management and its employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of recruiting and hiring across all offices.
- Manage all Employee Benefit Programs
- Ensures compliance with all FMLA, ADA, WC, and EEO Laws and requirements
- Hold all employees accountable on attendance and performance issues
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor all HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
- Manage and monitor Payroll through ADP
- Manage and monitor PTO balances and address any abuse and over-usage
- Manage the Onboarding Process of new hires and ensure all new employees are properly trained and equipped
- Manage the HR Policy Manual and all ongoing updates with input and approval from Senior Management
- Initiate employee trainings required by state laws
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and implement a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics * Starting job duties on time, staying on the job throughout the assigned shift to complete duties properly, and attending all scheduled meetings and appointments
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent required
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in human resources and leadership required
