Job Summary:
- Oversee and manage comprehensive safety programs within a manufacturing facility. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations. Develop and implement safety training, policies, and procedures to foster a culture of safety and prevent accidents.
Job Duties:
- Develop and execute safety programs and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Lead and develop a safety team to support safety initiatives.
- Provide expert safety guidance and consultation to management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain safety-related documentation and procedures.
- Conduct safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Execute emergency response plans and drills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
