Title: Sr. Content Developer

Type: 6 month contract (could potentially extend/convert)

Location: Greenwood Village/DTC

Schedule: Hybrid 2-3 days/week onsite

Pay Rate: Flexible based on experience


Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Content Designer to be part of their Digital Product & Design team and will be responsible for defining and executing overall content strategy to drive an intuitive and easy to use customer experience across their digital channels. The Senior Content Design Manager will partner with a cross-functional team and will effectively prioritize work to align the content strategy with the overall product vision and roadmap for the customer digital channels. This role will need to be able to operate within the SAFE Agile framework and manage a backlog of work to support the product and customer experience for both internal and external users.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute an overall content strategy across our digital channels to create an intuitive, self service solution for our customers
  • Partner with UI/UX designers, digital product and technology to build delightful user experiences, both internal and external, from the ground up and shape the product roadmap
  • Own and manage content types focused on products targeted on internal and external users (ex; product content, UI/UX content, help text, customer notifications, support, etc...)
  • Define the tone of voice for the customer content to ensure we are communicating in a language that resonates with our customer base
  • Create and advocate for approachable language that best communicates our mission and products externally
  • Work with a cross-functional team to build or iterate on new features and products
  • Engage throughout the product development process to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency
  • Develop frameworks, guidelines, audits, and processes to help define, manage and improve product content across our digital channels
  • Analyze user research and customer feedback to identify customer successes and frustrations to improve the product and customer experience
  • Ensure high-quality content for our products in terms of simplicity, education, usability, and delightfulness
  • Responsible for understanding the market and farm credit’s niche landscape in order to maintain competitiveness


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, communications or related field
  • 5-8+ years experience executing Content Design, Strategy, and UX Writing across web and mobile channels
  • 4+ years of professional experience in copywriting and editing
  • Excellent English language skills, including knowledge of grammar and style
  • Ability to turn financial product and service’s content into simple and engaging customer language
  • Ability to explain edits and creative concepts to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficient in content management tools (e.g. Drupal, WordPress, Wix)
  • Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, and user experience researchers
  • Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process
  • A portfolio or selection of writing samples and past work to share with recruiter
