Job Overview
Advanced Composites is seeking a leader in the Information Services space to lead a team of professionals on the IT team. This leader ensures information needed to run the ACP business is available and presented in the most effective manner possible. They lead the creation of procedures and standards for how we store, move, organize, and present business information. They also work to bring those standards to life by owning solution implementations in this area. This includes reviewing business processes for improvement or creating new processes as needed. The team builds expertise in key business applications to aid the business in daily operations and operational improvements.
This manager is responsible for the following key technologies: SAP Reporting and Analytics, data presentation software such as Power BI, and business process management tools. The team is also involved heavily in processes around the ERP software as well as process controls systems. This role will also be key in developing our data & analytics practice and systems in line with our focused 5-year initiatives.
Duties
- Provides daily guidance and oversight of the professionals in the Information Services team.
- Sets team goals and corresponding measures of success.
- Works with team members on development plan creation and execution.
- Collaborates with other IT managers to ensure appropriate and efficient project and operational communication for cross-functional tasks and requirements.
- Provides weekly statistical, project and operational reporting to GM of IT.
- Acts as first point of escalation for system issues and project delivery issues.
- Is responsible for cross-functional coordination as needed to resolve system issues.
- Ensures compliance with internal and external regulations (JSOX, GAAP, InfoSec, Data Protection, Export Controls, etc.).
- Ensures all EDI production and testing processes are managed and prioritized.
- Leads the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of reporting solutions as needed.
- Assists with departmental budget activities, including fiscal year planning. Manage the budget for your team.
- Provides support and after-hours emergency outage support as needed.
- Ensures business analyst functions are managed and prioritized, including data analytics, business process improvements, troubleshooting, and providing business insights.
- Ensures reporting functions are managed and prioritized, getting the right information in front of the business and leadership in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance Responsibilities
- Comply with, work to, and provide support for all Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Laboratory management systems, policies, procedures, work instructions for ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO/IATF 16949, and ISO17025.
- Support compliance with all other applicable regulatory (such as OSHA) and company OH&S and EMS requirements.
- Comply with all ACP Company rules, policies, procedures and report any/ all hazards, incidences and accidents identified and/ or witnessed directly to the supervisor/manager, and Plant Safety department.
- Is aware of the significant impacts, associated aspects, and the legal requirements that are inherent with acquired duties, identified hazards, assessed risks, and implemented controls within his/her dept.

Skills, Licenses and Certifications
- ERP implementation and support
- Budget management
- Knowledge of modern integrations methods and technologies (API’s, EDI, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks under pressure
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- MS Office Suite (M365: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
- SAP ERP, preferred
- Technical understanding and experience with data transfer, storage, analytics, and use of ML and AI to remove business roadblocks
- Well versed in soliciting business requirements, creating functional specification documents, planning/leading/performing testing and data validation
- MS Teams and SharePoint experience preferred
- Experience with cloud technology implementation and integrations in AWS, Azure, or other.
- ServiceNow or equivalent ticket and demand management software
- L1-5 Business Process Mapping experience preferred
- Experience with SCADA and HMI systems a plus
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management, Computer Science or Information Systems/Information Technology required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IS/IT management in a medium to large corporate environment
- 10 years’ experience working in an ERP environment, supporting Manufacturing Industry Corporate Business Processes (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, D365, etc.); Manufacturing functional information system experience preferred
Work Environment
- Some driving and overnight travel required; corporate functions are split between Nashville, TN and Sidney, OH
- This position operates on a hybrid work model, offering flexibility with a combination of remote and in-office work. The in-office environment is a professional and collaborative atmosphere. Hybrid employees are expected to establish and maintain a dedicated and professional home office environment to facilitate optimal productivity and focus. In both remote and in-person settings, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
