Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement category strategies for professional services, including consulting, engineering services, and project management.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure service quality and performance.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts for professional services to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in professional services procurement.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies within the category.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of service providers and the effectiveness of procurement strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Management, or a related field.
  • [5+] years of experience in category management or procurement of professional services, preferably within the power generation or related industries.
  • Proven negotiation and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


Preferred:

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CIPS) are advantageous.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
