Our client, a commercial property and multi-family restoration firm, with headquarters in Milwaukee, is seeking to hire a Construction Project Superintendent. This is a direct hire position with 1st shift hours M-F, pays $40-$50+/hour based on relevant experience, and full benefits health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a 401k match.
Position Overview:
As a restoration and construction Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will prepare and implement all aspects of Fire, Water, Mold, Car vs Building, and Biohazard loss as well as renovations to residential and commercial projects. Create budgets and work closely with estimators and insurance companies as well as homeowners to deliver comprehensive scope of work. Develop timeframes for completion of projects and coordinate all work with subcontractors. Oversee all construction and in house workers to deliver safe and timely completion of projects. Regulate and manage construction plans, materials, budgeting, and staff to complete projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and adjust as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Hire, train, and supervise project staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with project management software.
