Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor with self-performed trades of concrete and carpentry; serving the Midwestern region with offices in Madison, Milwaukee and Bloomington, MN. We specialize in the new construction of various commercial, multi-unit and mixed-use buildings. This position will remain local to Milwaukee area construction projects.

The Project Superintendent is responsible for all construction efforts in the field to ensure project is safely constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. This position will remain local to Milwaukee area construction projects.

  • Supervises all Stevens Construction personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to our quality standards.
  • Develops, updates and tracks performance of construction schedule.
  • Maintain all jobsite paperwork: daily log, delivery tickets, field work orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders, sub contracts and project photos.
  • Forecasts crew sizes needed to complete SCC self-performed work within estimated manhours.
  • Manages and schedules punch list work with owner, architect, and subcontractors.
  • Enforces all jobsite safety requirements.
  • Creates a positive, professional, friendly environment onsite.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly jobsite.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as a commercial, new construction, Project Superintendent from a general contractor or construction management firm
  • Superintendent experience managing scopes of work in excess of $10M.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents
