Job Description:

 

The Office of General Counsel seeks an attorney for its legal team in the field to work on bankruptcy litigation, loan closing reviews, defensive and affirmative foreclosure litigation, review of agreements, litigation plans and fees, and other work as assigned. The position will be located in Seattle, WA.

 

Qualifications: 

 

Applicants must possess a J.D. degree and be an active member of the bar in good standing in any state or territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience, good interpersonal communication, computer, research, analytic and writing skills, the ability to present information clearly, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The attorney must also be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Salary:

 

Current salary and years of experience will determine the appropriate salary level. The appropriate salary range, including locality pay and adjustments, depending on locality is GS-13: $115,793 to $150,535/year. 

 

Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
