All Star Labor & Staffing, founded in Portland, OR in 2009 and previously voted # 4 on the Ink5000 Fastest Growing Oregon Woman-Owned Business is seeking an experienced sales person in the staffing industry. The individual will be a full-time employee engaged in selling our services to clients in the light industrial, manufacturing, administrative, and hospitality industries. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with new clients for their dedicated territory. Interested candidates must be results oriented, self-confident, and demonstrate a high sense of urgency, organization, and integrity. 2-5 years Staffing sales experience preferred.


Essential Job Functions:


Strategy

  • Prospect, sign, and develop new customer relationships.
  • Develop lead generation strategies and marketing plans to reach sales goals set by the Vice President.
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments with decision-makers and individuals in a position of influence.
  • Analyze the prospective client’s needs and work with the operations team to build custom staffing solutions to successfully meet those needs.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities by providing a consultative and value-added approach.
  • Collaborate with staffing teams to determine target markets and demographics.
  • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions for employment services based upon guidelines set by leadership.


Relationships and Retention

  • Manage new accounts in designated sales territory, ensuring clients’ needs are met, problems are solved, and issues are addressed.
  • Maintain ongoing relationship with prospective clients, both in-person and by electronic communication to continuously assess upcoming needs.

Measurable

  • Target gross margins averaging above 20%
  • Target 40% quarterly growth year over year for new branches, in years 1-3, 20% growth years 4-5, and 10% growth for branches after year 5
  • Utilize ZoomInfo and Hubspot for sales outreach and activity tracking


Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years sales experience in the staffing industry (3-5 years preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Sales Tracking Tools, ATS, ZoomInfo, and Hubspot
  • 100% comfortable with cold calling
  • Effective communication skills


This is a full time position Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM and candidate must be based in the Portland Metro Area. No out of state applicants please. Base salary of $63,000 plus commission.
