Part-Time Data Entry Administrator

1-800-Flowers.com is looking for a Part-Time Data Entry Administrator who will provide key account demand management, day-to-day order activity, and order fulfillment support, freeing account managers to focus on business development and client satisfaction. This is a temporary position only.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Telephone and email discussion with customers, coordinating with florists or vendors, entering orders into system and tracking fulfillment and satisfaction
  • Supporting Enterprise customers including order entry, reporting, and customer interaction
  • Ensuring accuracy of billing, especially correct unit numbers, account codes, etc. Will collaborate with Accounts Receivable to resolve discrepancies
  • Manages Bulk orders, monthly weekly orders, including Bulk order upload where applicable
  • Runs reports as required (SAS, Partner Reports, ect)
  • Process account applications for small market and selected accounts. Establish account, submit credit request, and ACT entry.
  • Handle sales and service inquiries for small, unassigned accounts. Identify potential for growth and refer to sales manager.
  • Identify more efficient ways to handle work process to improve customer satisfaction and internal productivity


Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Assist customers % sales team daily with ordering / service related issues, reporting, account set up (60%)
  • Assist in maintaining special customer billing activities and analyzing and resolving billing issues (20%)
  • Prepare specialized reports for key partners (5%)
  • Assist in setting up, maintaining tracking results for continuity ordering programs (5%)
  • Database Management/Updating Database as needed (5%)
  • Assist with special projects as required (5%)


Education/Experience:

  • Previous experience in B2B customer support.
  • Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
  • Experience working with customers with complex ongoing demand requirements.
  • Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience as service center agent for 1800Flowers helpful.
  • Prefer college graduate. If not 5 years business experience in the B2B sales / operations support role.

Skills:

  • Superior customer service skills: ability to negotiate specific order requirements with customers, coordinate with florists, and data entry for one-time events or continuing scheduled (continuity) events.
  • Typing Ability 30-40 WPM is essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Docs, mail merges.
  • High verbal and written communication ability.
  • Strong time management, including ability to work as part of a team and prioritize workload while completing all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods of time.
  • Experience with CRM such as ACT, Salesforce and order entry/fulfillment systems (Salta).
  • Previous coordinating or administrative experience in a business to business or retail sales environment is preferred.


The expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.50-$21/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
