Position: Solution Architect, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid - 2-3 days in-office)

Employment Type: Full-Time


Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Solution Architect to join our Technology Team. You will be a leader and subject matter expert, driving solution architecture and delivery in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud. Your passion for marketing automation and innovative solutions will be key to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Lead discovery and requirement gathering, building strong client relationships and driving platform adoption.
  • Solution Design: Document requirements, create architecture diagrams, configure platforms, and deliver Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Agile Execution: Translate epics and user stories into actionable tasks and lead agile sprints.
  • Platform Expertise: Act as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert, providing recommendations for platform optimization and new implementations.
  • Technical Development: Create and manipulate SQL, AMPScript, and edit HTML, CSS, JSON, and SSJS.
  • Data Management: Build complex audiences and segments across multiple data sets.
  • QA & Best Practices: Develop and follow a rigorous QA process, adhering to best practices in Email, Web, Push, and SMS channels.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing Automation Managers, providing guidance and training.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to content development and thought leadership within our Salesforce practice.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist required; Admin and Consultant certifications preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMPScript, SQL, JSON, HTML, CSS, and SSJS.
  • Client-Facing Role: Proven experience leading implementations in a client-facing capacity.
  • Best Practices: Strong understanding of cross-channel marketing and data privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong communication, and collaborative mindset.
