Project Manager Biogas

POSITION SUMMARY:
Initially liaison with Germany and eventually lead Project Management for biogas upgrading plants in the US. The project manager is responsible of the main steps of the project (Engineering, Construction and Commissioning). He supports the successful progress of the project, from the beginning to the end, in accordance with contract documents in such a manner as to maximize customer satisfaction and company profitability expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Assuming responsibility for construction projects in terms of time, financial and functional aspects, in close cooperation with his site manager and his planner.
· Planning and coordination of projects according to the specifications of internal clients (e.g. sales) on all levels (services, deadlines, resources)
· Assuming leadership responsibility for a project team and coordinating the teams involved to ensure smooth operations
· Participating in on-site appointments and conducting technical negotiations with suppliers and/or customers
· Support the site manager on the field and participate to the construction meetings
· Drive and participate the Cold/Hot commissioning on-site, real achievement of the project before the Final Handover
· Handling of complaints, if necessary, in coordination with QS / Purchasing
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Civil, Process or Mechanical Engineering or Plant Construction or other closely related field; and a minimum of two years of directly related professional experience in project/construction management in the above-mentioned field. a real interest and curiosity for industrial processes in general is a major asset for this position. Knowledge in electricity/automation would be a plus. Customer focused. Experienced in MS office suite. Strong organization and communication skills. Ability to work in
a team implementing adaptability, resilience, and flexibility. Ability to find solutions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. High mobility, wiliness to travel and experience within the construction industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license, with an acceptable driving record and have access to reliable transportation.
