About the Position

Cherry Street Energy is looking for a marketing professional to help grow the company’s online presence and lead generation efforts. This role would lead the company’s email marketing efforts, putting together nurturing campaigns, ABM campaigns, and distributing a monthly email newsletter. Additional responsibilities would include working on the new website, being hands on with our social media activities, and providing additional support for the Sales team.


The marketing team is a small group, and the ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who is used to wearing different hats. As marketing for Cherry Street Energy is in its early stages, the candidate for this role will have the opportunity to define many of our online engagement processes.


This position reports to the Cherry Street Energy Director of Marketing.


You will be responsible for:

  • Creating segmented lists from our existing prospect list in Hubspot
  • Working with the sales org to determine cold leads that need nurturing
  • Creating email marketing campaigns for colder leads
  • Creating dedicated campaigns to prospects (ABM) to help keep deals warm
  • Organizing and distributing the monthly Company newsletter
  • Support our Shine On program through organizing and launching email outreach
  • Test and put together monthly reports on campaign performance
  • Ideate company social media strategy
  • Support our LinkedIn ad activities
  • Strategize our overall paid activity
  • Optimize the website through testing, SEO, and content suggestions


You’re the right person for this job if you possess:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing
  • A strong track record of both content creation and social media management
  • Experience and knowledge of Canva, LinkedIn Ads, Hubspot
  • Thrive in ambiguity and uncertainty, proactively creating product offerings and entering new verticals with confidence
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding
  • Superb communication and collaboration abilities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Can manage multiple projects at once and document activity in detail
  • Enjoy working with a dynamic, cross-functional team
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Bonus if you have experience using intent data platforms
