What You Will Be Doing

  • Perform complicated design work through the use AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Utilize HydroCAD to develop septic system designs and stormwater drainage outlines
  • Develop project specifications in accordance with city/state guidelines and industry standards
  • Coordinate details between clients, internal departments, city officials, and other regulatory agencies
  • Investigate, prepare, and present technical reports and presentations
  • Research local permitting laws and attend board meetings

What You Need for this Position

  • 2+ Years of Civil Design experience
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • EIT required (LSIT is a plus)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or HydroCAD
  • Knowledge of Grading/Drainage Calculations, Septic Design/Sewer Systems, and Underground Utilities required
  • Background working on Site Civil Projects including Hydrology, Land Development, Structural Engineering and Utilities Work
  • Knowledge of Local and State Permitting Laws, as well as Zoning Regulations
