About the role:

We're hiring a full-time Executive Chef to develop high-quality meals that our customers will love and grow/manage our culinary team.


What you'll own and how you'll make a difference:

  • Develop a rotating menu of flavorful recipes that our thousands of weekly customers will love
  • Produce food on behalf of well-known Bay Area restaurant partners to their/our quality standards
  • Help manage P&L by keeping labor efficient and food costs down
  • Obsess over customer feedback/ratings to improve meal quality
  • Build a strong team — including scheduling, managing, hiring, or firing based on performance/culture fit
  • Work alongside your Culinary Operations Manager and part time kitchen staff
  • Oversee production days — producing and plating a variety of foods based on specified requirements
  • Manage all ingredient sourcing and procurement, through inventory and strategic purchasing
  • Handle food products in compliance with safety practices


What we're looking for:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in culinary/food supervisory positions in a high volume kitchen
  • You are a great people manager and care about making meaningful connections with those you work with
  • Availability to work weekends is a must. Our main production days are Friday - Sunday. You’d have days off earlier in the week
  • You are creative and can utilize your culinary background to produce a diverse selection of products (healthy, high protein, vegan, etc.)
  • You’re data-driven and obsess over metrics and hitting your goals
  • You’re not afraid to get in the weeds and work as an individual contributor when needed
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing work environment
  • You are willing to learn and comfortable accepting/giving feedback
  • You are scrappy, think outside the box, and are willing to try new things all the time
