What You’ll Be Doing:


• Provide expert guidance, hands-on assistance, and personalized mentorship to a team of AV integration and managed services technicians, ensuring they meet and exceed performance standards.

• Oversee the Managed Services department, continuously improving processes and aligning operations with company objectives and client service expectations to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Actively foster the professional growth and development of AV technicians, field engineers, and support staff by offering training, career development opportunities, and constructive feedback.

• Lead the strategic implementation, maintenance, and optimization of clients' audio-visual systems, serving as a key escalation point for complex troubleshooting and system issues.

• Identifying and utilize appropriate resources, including in-house technical staff, external consultant partners, and manufacturer engineering teams, to effectively resolve complex challenges.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Design Engineers and the Field Commissioning team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the system installation, commissioning, and delivery phases.

• Demonstrate a commitment to capturing and sharing technical knowledge by creating and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base, including detailed tech notes and articles to support ongoing learning and operational efficiency.

• This position reports directly to Ownership.


What Should Be on Your Resume


• 6+ years of managing experience in a technology field with a focus on service & support or a integration team of technicians and engineers.

• Extensive experience in strategic planning, technology assessment and strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of exceptional communication and decision-making skills that enable effective leadership, stakeholder alignment, and successful project execution.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers in a professional manner.

• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices within the Audio Visual (AV) and/or Information Technology (IT) sectors, ensuring the application of cutting-edge solutions and the ability to implement and manage advanced, high-quality technology systems

• AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or the ability to achieve certification within 6 months hire date

• Experience with IT networking concepts, IT based certification a plus.

• Great interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
