Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of professional and business skills training programs for legal professionals across the Americas.
  • Develop and deliver diverse learning experiences using various modalities, including blended learning, live sessions, virtual formats, and eLearning.
  • Create and oversee comprehensive project plans for training initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and key milestones.
  • Manage logistical components of training, including scheduling, venue coordination, technology integration, and material preparation.
  • Co-facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments and program evaluations to measure effectiveness and guide future enhancements.
  • Craft compelling communications to promote programs and learning initiatives firm-wide.
  • Research and recommend innovative vendors and internal subject matter experts to enhance the department’s offerings.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in learning and development, integrating cutting-edge methods and practices.
  • Collaborate on the creation of marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, and presentations.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships within the firm to drive collaboration and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Must-Haves:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional development experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Expertise in program design, program management, blended learning solutions, needs assessments, and relationship-building.
  • Proven experience facilitating or co-facilitating both in-person and virtual training sessions, with a strong emphasis on in-person delivery.
  • Managerial experience is required—candidates currently at a Specialist or Coordinator level will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong project management skills—this is the top priority for the hiring manager. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to oversee project plans from conception to completion while keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience in learning and development for legal professionals.
  • People management experience.
  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Experience with large consulting firms.
  • Master’s degree.
