As the Contract Administrator, you'll work closely with our Vice President, Human Resources and in-house legal counsel while assuming responsibilities for the preparation of specific documents and negotiations. The Contract Administrator will also handle the review and organization of company MSA's, contracts, and NDA's. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills will be crucial for success in this position. Contract Administrator Responsibilities
- Prepare and review MSA, NDA’s and other contracts for clients and vendors using either Derse standard agreements or redlining client/vendor agreements to meet company guidelines.
- Work closely with In-House Counsel on creation of any new language required or proposed.
- Negotiate contract/agreement terms with clients or vendors as needed or in conjunction with DVP’s and AE’s.
- Obtain contract/agreement related information from relevant parties.
- Review and update existing contracts/agreements as needed.
- Explain terms and conditions to managers, sales people and other interested parties.
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract/agreement terms.
- Ensure all deadlines are met for completion of contracts/agreements.
- Contract Life Cycle Management maintenance activities and oversight which includes maintaining organized system of physical and digital records including amendments, clarifications, payment schedules and termination/expiration dates of all contracts/agreements.
- Collaborate with internal operations, HR and legal teams to ensure contract/agreement compliance.
- Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the Executive Team and DVP’s.
- Collaborate with Divisional Vice President’s, Account Executives and Corporate Operations on new agreements or expiring agreements.
- Work with In-house legal counsel on modification of standardized language or legal changes required for agreements.
Contract Administrator Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associate Degree and 2 + years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in redlining and negotiating contracts required.
- Knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts or agreements.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
