Kinn's Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales performance, and maintaining the highest standards of product presentation and store appearance. This role involves leading a team of stylists, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store meets its sales goals.


Kinn is a Los Angeles-based jewelry company that specializes in designing modern heirlooms. Every piece of jewelry is hand-crafted from solid gold, ensuring long-lasting quality. Kinn's signature pieces are designed to stand the test of time and be passed on as cherished heirlooms.


Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets. You excel as a leader and are passionate about building and developing a team 
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, sales techniques, and company policies.
  • Set performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching to support their development.


Sales Performance:

  • Drive store sales to meet or exceed targets through effective sales strategies, client engagement, and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and implement action plans to improve sales and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute in-store promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones.


Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure that every client receives a personalized and memorable shopping experience that reflects the luxury and quality of the brand.
  • Resolve client complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and VIP clients, providing them with tailored services and exclusive offers.
  • You have a talent for communication and can connect effectively with everyone. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.


Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products to ensure the store is adequately stocked with high-demand items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy in inventory records.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure that the store’s product assortment aligns with customer preferences and market trends.


Store Operations:

  • Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures and daily reconciliations.
  • Ensure that the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing, with displays that highlight the beauty and craftsmanship of the jewelry.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, loss prevention practices, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, customer feedback, and other key metrics to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Track and manage the store’s budget, controlling expenses to maximize profitability.


Community Engagement:

  • Represent the brand at local events, networking opportunities, and community activities to build brand awareness and drive traffic to the store.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create mutually beneficial relationships that support store growth.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in fine jewelry and engagement rings.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience with a keen understanding of luxury retail dynamics.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle difficult situations and make sound decisions.
  • Product Knowledge: A deep understanding of fine jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals, with the ability to educate customers on product details and craftsmanship.
  • Technology: Proficiency in retail management software, point-of-sale systems and Shopify.
