Amount of Travel Required: Occasional

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Hours may vary between 7:00am – 7:00pm


Position Summary

The position consists of managing a team of CPST Case Managers. The CBS Manager will assist staff in developing and maintaining caseloads and productivity, along with training staff on how to build/teach skills to clients, while also providing consistent engagement with parents during treatment. Provides administrative and clinical leadership to staff who are providing case management, peer support, IPS supportive employment and professional resource family care programming to children and youth.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides mentorship and supervision to Case Management staff, and other assigned staff peer support and IPS supervisory staff.
  • Oversees the day-to-day provision of IPS supervisor, IPS specialists, peer support, and case management services to clients and ensures case management all services are in conformity with Licensing Standards, Agency quality improvement, corporate compliance.
  • Ensures documentation guidelines and services are performed consistent with establish clinical standards.
  • Hires new staff as needed, conducts performance appraisals on current staff and promotes all of the agency's employee performance guidelines.
  • Coordinate additional training for staff as needed
  • Coordinates and monitors the admission, continued care, and discharge of clients within case management, IPS, and peer support services services.
  • Assists the Program Director of CBS Chief Community Based Officer in monitoring qualitative and quantitative data and makes recommendations to promote efficiencies and effectiveness of services provided to children, youth and their families.
  • Develops and monitors the budget regarding case management, IPS, and peer support services, in conjunction with other CBS Mangers and the the Chief Community Based OfficerProgram Director of CBS.
  • Carries a limited caseload of children and youth being provided services in Community Based Services.
  • Other duties as assigned.




POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure:

  • LMSW, LSCSW, LMLP, LCP, Ph.D., or Psy.D, or ARNP, Preferred.
  • Must possess an LMSW, LMLP, LSCSW, LCP, Ph.D., or Psy.D.
  • A valid license to practice in the state of Kansas, preferably with an advanced credential is required. QMHP preferred (LMSW, LSCSW, LMLP, LCP, Ph.D., PsyD. or ARNPRN). Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university or college required OR High school diploma/equivalent and 4+ years related experience required.
  • At least three years of providing clinical services to children, youth/adolescents and families is preferred.
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must successfully pass the KBI, DCF SRS and all Central Registry background investigations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.


Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of community based services for children and youth especially related to the provision of case management, IPS, and Peer Support.


  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with others and to perform services in an ethical manner.


  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary setting to promote cross team services on behalf of clients.

Office and Community-Based working environment; requires flexible schedule; frequent interruptions occur; expected to deal with individuals in crisis; risk of exposure to aggressive and/or acting out (verbal and physical) children and youth, and exposure to low socioeconomic homes and neighborhoods. Position requires long periods of sitting, continual use of the keyboard and personal computer and/or speaking on the telephone. Position may require the provision of services in an office, client home, school, virtual or or other community setting.
