Job Summary:

CertaPro Painters is seeking an experienced, motivated Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, coaching and developing our sales team, and building strong client relationships. You’ll oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing, ensuring high-quality customer experiences and alignment with company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and company objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture and helping team members reach their full potential.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Proposal & Pricing Oversight: Oversee pricing strategies and proposal creation, ensuring that estimates are competitive, accurate, and aligned with company margin goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key sales metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to meet targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices to adjust strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality service.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, preferably in the painting, construction, or home improvement industry
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
