Civil/Structural Engineering / Site Inspector

## Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented structural Threshold Inspector Rep to join our team and perform on-site inspections on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of structural engineering, construction documents/plan reading, and construction means and methods. If you have a background in construction management and / or structural/civil engineering and enjoy full time field work, this position is perfect for you. Understand this position is for a full time construction site field inspector (long hours on your feet on construction sites). Additionally, during non-peak construction days, document prep/control, engineering design and report prep, etc. will be expected.

## Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with project documents and specifications

- Analyze blueprints and other technical documents to verify compliance with field installation

- Serve as primary interface between field and office

- Collect data and document findings during inspections

- Collaborate with construction teams to address any issues or discrepancies identified during inspections

- Perform quality control checks on construction materials and equipment

- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task

- Self sufficient/time management/self motivated

- Working hours will vary based on construction schedule

- Additional engineering tasks will be required during down construction time

## Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction inspection or a related field

- Bachelors degree in construction management or Civil/Structural Engineering

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems effectively

- Knowledge of construction management practices and quality control procedures

- Familiarity with contract requirements and construction site regulations

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
