We are hiring an aggressive sales professional to develop and sell radio advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. Work for WJAS one of Pittsburgh’s original radio stations, which has served Pittsburgh and Allegheny County since 1922. Now, as Talk Radio 1320 (99.1 FM), WJAS continues its legacy of broadcast excellence with compelling talk programming and nationally recognized hosts and local programming as well.


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key client accounts while driving new business opportunities.


Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and exceptional service.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and warm calling.

- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue goals and drive company growth.

- Utilize technical sales knowledge to effectively communicate the value of products or services to clients.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.

- Lead negotiations and close deals to meet sales targets.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in radio sales/ account management, business development, or related sales roles.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive results and motivate team members.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Proficiency in sales techniques, including warm calling, analyzing customer needs, and closing deals.
