About the Role

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation to ensure Edgar’s Grille operates efficiently and profitably.



Responsibilities

• Demonstrate core values of Goodwill Industries by modeling service, ownership, accountability, and respect.

• Be mission storyteller with clear understanding of relationship between Goodwill mission, Helms College and Edgars Hospitality Group. Ensure that all staff are likewise educated to present Goodwill story to our customers.

• Using EGH standards assist with training / motivating staff.

• Responsible for maintaining all operating supplies and inventories.

• Responsible for development of Beverage specialty drink menus and recipes.

• Provide exemplary leadership, creating service-oriented atmosphere.

• Manage/implement operating structure for Front of House (FOH) (sections, scheduling, phasing) • Reinforce set standards of personnel (uniform compliance, check in and out policies for staff, appropriate appearance, etc.).

• Ensure atmosphere is complete as planned (cleanliness, décor, music, lighting).

• Maintain expert knowledge of F&B menus.


Qualifications

• Three to five years’ restaurant experience.

• Experience in the coordination of food and beverage services.

• Skilled in areas of: time management, organization, and communication, problem solving, interpersonal and training skills.

• Flexibility to juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

• Outgoing, enthusiastic personality; comfortable in social settings and able to tell Goodwill story with poise and confidence.

• Ability to coach, mentor and motive staff to achieve high levels of teamwork and performance.

• Commitment to a high standard of work performance and in achieving high level of pride in the final results.
