Scope of responsibility:

  • Leads the maintenance planning and scheduling department
  • Set goals for the planning/scheduling department

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining department KPIs

  • Identify gaps in the department and address issues
  • Develop long-term strategies for department success
  • Manage and maintain the overall backlog based on industry standards
  • Defining the list of activities to represent the maintenance plan
  • Responsible for implementing cost saving tactics
  • Oversee direct and indirect labor unit estimate is represented in the resource-loaded schedule, including the design allowances
  • Ensuring the material cost estimate is represented in the schedule by helping to identify tracked material items and bulks
  • Reviewing contractors’ schedules and ensuring contractors’ compliance to the corporate and company scheduling standards and procedures
  • Ensuring all contractors are correctly inputting time and materials into work orders
  • Develops a control baseline schedule and maintains the current schedule to the company scheduling standards
  • Ensuring project schedules are maintained, in the correct formats, and consistent with the company objectives
  • Always present a professional image to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation for the company


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 10 years’ experience in planning/scheduling with Supervisory experience
  • SAP experience required
