DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with Proxima development team ensuring all Global Guest Services requirements are identified, developed, testing and implemented through the life cycle of Proxima launch
  • Map and document interfaces between legacy and new systems
  • Work with specific departmental system application of various development teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements
  • Supporting with CR requirements for Global Guest Services projects
  • Maintain and prioritize backlog items, including bug fixes and small enhancements
  • Support in regular priority meetings to analyze workflow, understand the business flow and make recommendations
  • Supports and initiates action to implement new and efficient ways of translating business transactions in the system.
  • Evaluate requests from business units to determine current and future system capabilities and recommend changes to the system, taking into consideration the global impact of those changes
  • Create and follow the change control process and ensure proper methodology and implementation, including but not limited to: training, scripting, communication and implementation
  • Support with testing efforts by ensuring that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Debug production reported issues and suggest manual workarounds within Proxima
  • Assist in resolving production issues, including troubleshooting application issues
  • Assess and analyze existing processes and data to identify improvement opportunities and present findings to Manager and Business Owners
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the entire life cycle of small projects within Proxima and Quest

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business Studies, Business Information Systems, or Computer Science


EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years of experience in business process design or requirement, gathering and translating business requirements for development, experience as Business Analyst with technical skills, and/or super user of reservations application used within the enterprise. Travel or hospitality web/reservation system experience preferred.
