About the Human Resources Director: The Human Resources Director will spearhead the HR function, driving the implementation of policies and programs across the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to address employee needs while aligning with the company’s objectives. The HR Director will collaborate closely with senior management, offering innovative solutions to enhance work relationships, boost morale, increase productivity, and improve retention. Additionally, this role will oversee recruitment and the continuous development of a high-performing workforce, all within the framework of the company’s operational strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business plan and strategic goals, with a focus on talent management, organizational and performance management, change management, training, and compensation.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, overseeing the creation, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Lead efforts in talent acquisition, development, and retention, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, career development, performance management, and succession planning to meet the organization’s evolving needs.
- Direct the development and execution of competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that attract and retain top talent, including overseeing benefits packages and renewals.
- Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and impartial investigations when necessary.
- Identify training needs and oversee the implementation and monitoring of training programs, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Champion diversity and inclusion by integrating these principles into recruitment, training, and employee engagement strategies.
- Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making, track key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior HR leadership role, such as HR Director or HR Manager.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, particularly in a multi-state organization.
- Proficiency with HR metrics and HR systems.
- Strong strategic planning capabilities coupled with effective leadership skills.
- Exceptional skills in active listening, negotiation, and presentation.
- Proven ability to build and manage strong interpersonal relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
