Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events, ensuring they run smoothly from conception to completion. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.


Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and organize events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings.
  2. Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  3. Develop event budgets, timelines, and schedules.
  4. Source and negotiate with vendors, including venues, caterers, and audiovisual providers.
  5. Arrange transportation and accommodations for event attendees and speakers, if necessary.
  6. Coordinate event logistics, including setup, teardown, and on-site coordination.
  7. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and manage RSVPs.
  8. Oversee event registration processes, ticket sales, and attendee communication.
  9. Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations during events.
  10. Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports on event success and areas for improvement.
  11. Maintain updated records and documentation related to events.


Requirements on Resume:

1. Bachelor of Arts or Business degree or equivalent plus with 2 or more years of experience in meeting and events planning. Association or non-profit experience a plus.
