The National Sales Representative is part of our brokerage division and works on selling our services and finding companies to move a customer’s freight nationwide. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-
- New sales representatives build a diverse book of business from scratch
- Driven to met or exceed monthly goals/metrics
- Report on-site in our downtown Greenville office, M-F
Success and Skills used in NSR Role-
- Prospecting/qualifying customers/multi-tasker/persistence skill set/confident
- Adaptability in fast-paced industry/accountability to achieve goals
- Solution driven/positive focused problem solver
- Customer care and relationships building/networking/managing/ good listener
- Pursuing new business around the U.S., Canada and Mexico by cold calling and emailing shippers that consistently move products

- NSR’s will be the customer’s liaison within ATS Logistics to ensure their satisfaction
- Have strong skills to work with inside sales role, which includes phone, via one-to-one video and through email

SIMILAR CAREERS: Having experience/background in these careers are relatable and may have transferrable skill sets
- Driver/Logistics inside sales/truck load quantity sales focused
- Driver/Logistics operation/retention/recruitment
- In-side/outside sales roles and retail sales management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Higher education (i.e. two or four year degree) preferred but not required or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in inside sales or logistics related roles with longevity of employment in roles preferred
- One or more year(s) of experience Building a Book of Business/B2B sales preferred
- A firm understanding of marketing strategies, sales tools, and customer service principles.
- An innovative thinker with results driven success
- Excellent presentation and staging skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet (social media, internet databases and research tools)
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills with a metrics and results driven approach

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
Pay: Industry Competitive Base salary with potential of higher based salary based on industry experience, with an additional monthly performance incentive and training incentive the first year.
