Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for sales and optimizing customer service experiences in the first meeting, during installation, and after jobs are completed. You will work with the commercial roofing team to deliver the best experience for customers from job start to finish.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to maximize every sales opportunity, and present roofing estimates professionally and accurately.
A successful candidate has a unique personality, the ability to demonstrate he or she is willing to go above and beyond to accomplish customers’ needs. The Account Manager understands that customer satisfaction is the #1 priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial roofing sector. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, property managers, and contractors to generate sales and expand market presence.
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough needs assessments for potential clients. Provide expert advice on roofing solutions, materials, and systems to meet their specific requirements and budget.
- Proposal and Presentation: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and product specifications. Clearly articulate the benefits and value of our roofing solutions to prospective clients.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions to close deals effectively. Ensure all agreements are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution from contract signing to project completion.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance our sales strategy and offerings.
- Customer Service: Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing or construction.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Sales Skills: Manage qualified leads, build relationships, and close sales. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of addressing client needs and finding effective solutions.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. Ability to understand technical aspects of roofing products and services.
- Education: Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
