What’s the job like?
Your day begins at Elliott Tool Technologies, where you are the go-to specialist for Tube Tools. A co-worker needs help preparing a quote for a major US fabricator with specific questions about their condenser expanders.
You connect with a Lean Manufacturing Engineer, who shares the challenges his team faces with their current expanders, which require custom modifications and often malfunction. Drawing on your expertise, you recommend Elliott’s 24 Series Condenser Expanders, highlighting features like the nylon pilot, 5 rolls, and thin wall collar for superior performance.
The US fabricator’s team tests the 24 Series Expanders on-site, expanding approximately 1,300 tube ends over two days. The team is impressed with the quality rolled joints, decreased labor time, and ease of use. Following the successful test, they place a sizeable order and schedule a training session with you.
You then organize the training at the customer’s location and review materials for an upcoming session for new Elliott team members. After confirming the materials will be ready on time, you set up the practical component of the training program at Elliott Tool’s Solution Center.
The next morning, in the Sales Team meeting, the Area Sales Manager updates you on a significant referral from the customer you assisted. A follow-up qualification call with a decision-maker is scheduled, and you are invited to provide technical support due to your expertise with tube tool solutions.
Every day you will be doing work that really matters. You will be helping customers solve their product and application challenges. You will have an opportunity to do your best work and make a real impact.
