As a Loan Sale Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the post-closing process for a pipeline of loans, ensuring their smooth transition through the loan sale process. You will collaborate with third-party review (TPR) firms, sellers, and internal departments to clear pre-purchase conditions, resolve deficiencies, and ensure timely execution of loan purchases.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for approved sellers, providing updates and facilitating communication throughout the loan sale process.
  • Manage a pipeline of closed loans, overseeing their progress through sale and addressing any pre-purchase conditions with TPR firms.
  • Clear collateral pre-purchase conditions and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Monitor loan inventory, addressing aging loans by prioritizing and escalating as necessary.
  • Identify trends in deficiencies and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Review stipulations and conditions from TPR firms, ensuring their validity and working towards resolution.
  • Collaborate with sellers and internal departments to resolve missing documentation, data corrections, and other issues within designated timeframes.
  • Escalate denials and exception requests to management for review and approval.
  • Submit satisfactory conditions via TPR websites for review and approval.
  • Track the loan pipeline to ensure timely receipt, shipment, and resolution of outstanding deficiencies.
  • Prepare Purchase Advice and communicate with sellers when loans are ready for purchase.
  • Ensure sellers provide borrowers with the required servicing Goodbye Letter, following up as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ year of Post-Closing experience in the Mortgage industry
  • Working knowledge of TRID regulations, RESPA 2010, HMDA, and Appraisal Independence Requirements (AIR)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple loans and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues effectively.
  • Experience in loan sales, post-closing, or loan operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, pre-purchase conditions, and collateral requirements.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, organized, must be able to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products
